Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyOpen fresh savoury black cherry jam, vanilla and spicy, peppery nose with gamey, chocolate and tobacco with bits of cassis, black olive, cedar aromas. Rich, full, round, supple, polished palate with some fine, grainy tannin. Dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, black berry, cassis, tobacco, cedar, meaty, spicy, savoury flavours. Very well balanced with a long finish but some youthful tannin to dissipate over the next 5-10 years.
