Mission Hill Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAll Okanagan here with a tight, balsamic, smoky dried herb nose with bits of black cherry, leather, coffee, and tobacco. The attack is warm and the entry is soft with fairly rich tannins, cranberry and coffee and liquorice flavours with vanilla and cigar ash in the background. A slightly drier version than 07 with tannin yet to be absorbed. Serve it now with roasted or grilled beef or cellar through 2014.Tasted: 22 November 2011Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
