Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalVery peppery, licorice root, menthol, dried plum, black tea, dried fig, spicy, orange aromas. Rich, warm, full, somewhat tannic, tight palate with good sweetness but not cloying. Warm, slightly spirity palate with espresso, hot black licorice, spicy, black tea, fig, blackberry, prune, menthol flavours.
