Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalChocolate, black cherry licorice, earthy, peppery, spicy aromas. Rich, ripe, hot and somewhat tannic with good concentration and sweetness. Similar flavours with chocolate, black berry jam, resin, licorice, tobacco and black pepper.
