Mission Hill S.L.C. Merlot 2005

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPeppery, spicy, savoury, floral, coffee, black cherry, black olive nose. Dry, fresh entry with some grainy tannins and a touch of austerity and more black olive, resin, tobacco, black cherry, bitter chocolate flavours. There is fine concentration here but finish is warm and lean. Needs another year or two to integrate further. Drink now with grilled meat.Tasted: 11 April 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
