Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileThe Purple Angel mix is 92 per cent carmenère and 8 per cent petit verdot. Big rich tobacco ash, smoky, bay leaf, dried herbs, peppery, mocha, coffee, savoury aromas. The palate is glossy and supple with plush textures that are suave and balanced. Peppery, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, menthol, tobacco, black cherry jam, licorice, sage and cedar flavours. A touch warm but well balanced and with some finesse. Good for meat.
