Feather Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesA Long Shadows wines made in Washington by California mountain cabernet man Randy Dunn. Smoky saddle leather, meaty, tobacco leaf, cigar, peppery, coriander, vanilla, licorice root, coffee, black berry, cedar and cassis aromas, good complexity. Rich, ripe, dry, round, slightly tannic palate with good acidity but warm. Cassis jam, coffee, chocolate, cedar, peppery, black olive, blackberry, tobacco, leather, floral, vanilla flavours. Well balanced with some grip but youthful showing some tannins and oak. Best in 3-5 years.
