Boutari Naoussa 2006

Naousa, Makedonia, GreeceAn ancient indigenous grape the xynomavro has an earthy, peppery, tobacco, prune, soy nose streaked with dried cherry, olive and spicy dried tomato. Round, rich, smooth, fresh palate with some elegance. Light vanilla, sour cherry, strawberry, earthy, smoky, dried herb and tobacco flavours. Simple but well balanced for current drinking. Try with simple grilled chicken dishes.Tasted: 08 November 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
