Pentâge Winery Pentâge 2005

Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPeppery, tobacco leaf, meaty, resin, cedar, barnyard, compost, dried herb, mushroom aromas - not very clean. Dry, round, elegant palate with some dry, light tannins. Cedar bark, peppery, coffee, vanilla, cherry, prune, chocolate, cranberry flavours all in balance. Very warm, meaty black tea tannin finish. Better than the '04 but the nose is lacking.Tasted: 16 December 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
