Michele Chiarlo Barolo Cannubi 2003

Piedmont, ItalySpicy, floral, black cherry, smoky, tar, coffee, barnyard, mint, tobacco and mineral aromas. Rich, ripe, round, somewhat tannic and warm with some youthful, grainy tannins and a touch of hard acidity. Cherry, tar, spicy, coffee, vanilla, peppery, tobacco, mineral, floral flavours. Very good balance if somewhat forward but nicely balanced needs 2-5 years to soften the tannins and acidity.Tasted: 10 February 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
