Frescobaldi Castelgiocondo Lamaione Merlot 2004

Tuscany, ItalyDeep, intense black cherry colour. Smoky, spicy, plum jam, raspberry, mocha, floral, gamey, tobacco, bay and black olive aromas. Round, rich, supple and concentrated with grainy tannins. Warm vanilla, plum jam, black cherry, spicy, eucalyptus, floral, resin, tobacco, peppery, spicy flavours. Good acidity balance, ripe style with very good fruit but a bit warm. Needs 3-5 years.
