Château Pesquié Ventoux Terrasses 2004
Sud de France, FranceThe latest Les Terrasses is a 70/30 blend of grenache and syrah, perfectly reflecting the classic 2004 vintage. Not too hot, it has a fresh flavour spiked with fruity floral hints and jammy berry fruit flavours. Only about a fifth of the blend sees wood; very little of that is new oak. It is a well-priced and well-made Ventoux that will undoubtedly improve in the bottle over the next three years.
