Robertson, Breede River Valley, South AfricaExcelsior Estate is home to the De Wets, Stephen and Freddie, fourth generation South Afrcian wine guys. Look for a mix of plummy, earthy fruit spiked with leather and toasted oak. Fairly acidic on the mid-palate with dry leather notes and a warm alcoholic finish. Best serevd with grilled or barbecued meats.
