California, United StatesThis is the best sauvignon we have tasted from the VR series yet. The nose is fresh with fine aromatics mixed with citrus grassy, lime rind aromas. On the palate more lemony fruit with a mineral, seawater undercurrent that really gives it a touch of complexity. The blend is 88/ 9/ 2 sauvignon blanc / sémillon / chardonnay.
