Domaine de Beaurenard Boisrenard Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2004
Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceWhite honey, floral, mineral, butter, spicy, peach skin, marzipan, baked pear aromas. Rich, dry, round, full bodied style but fairly elegant despite the high alcohol. Big mineral, floral, honey, butter, baked pear, quince, toasty, ginger flavours. Long, warm, toasty oak, vanilla, ginger spice finish. Quite intense and unique but a food wine. Iconoclastic. Try with grilled squid or fish.Tasted: 28 April 2006Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $88.55 | 750ml | speculative listing - Winspeer |
