Douro Superior, Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalSpicy vanilla, clove, cinnamon oak nose with gamey, licorice root, cedar, chocolate, black cherry, plum aromas and a tobacco streak. Dry, elegant, somewhat tannic entry with some acidity showing. Very oaky, vanilla, peppery, cherry, tart plum, smoky, spicy menthol flavours. A bit skinny and showing a lot of oak.
