Tuscany, ItalyThe 50/50 blend of sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon opens with a meaty, black licorice, vanilla nose streaked with black cherry, cigar, cassis, orange peel and smoky saddle leather. Dry, round and elegant on the palate with some lean tannins. Very spicy with smoky tobacco, vanilla, licorice root and cassis flavours.
