Jim Barry The McRae Wood Shiraz 2002

Clare Valley, South Australia, AustraliaBig serious rich intense all describe the latest The McRae Wood Shiraz. The nose is bright and full of plum fruit that is sweet and spicy. On the palate, the wine offers similar notes of spicy cardamom and raspberry fruit with chocolate and just a hint of sweaty leather in the finish. Big plump, juicy and rich this will need another three to 5 years to mature in bottle.Tasted: 01 August 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
