Chateau de Serame Minervois 2002

Minervois, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceThis is the first release of the Minervois that blends 60 per cent mourvèdre with grenache and carignan for m 70 year-old vines. The wine has a supple sweet ripe fruit entry with soft textures and fine length. Hints of mocha mix with sweet spicy fruit a touch of leather. Long smooth delicious finish. Very Impressive effort and definitely a winner at this price. If this is the new face of the Languedoc we are totally impressed.Tasted: 13 February 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
