Minervois, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceThree years in a row this wine has over delivered and now it is the 2010 "Red Blends" category champion at the 2010 International Value Wine Awards. The mix is a delicious blend of 50 percent mourvèdre, 38 percent grenache noir and 12 percent carignan offering up smoky, meaty, black cherry, chocolate fruit with a dollop of black liquorice. The attack is round and supple. It is rich yet elegant with a floral, black cherry, peppery finish.
