Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalyBig ripe black cherry, black plum jam, spicy, clove, tobacco, black pepper nose with saddle leather, smoke and vanilla - great fruit intensity. Rich, round and ripe with big concentration and grainy tannins. Intense peppery, dark chocolate, vanilla, cassis jam, black cherry, smoky root and gamey flavours. Long and intense with good acidity although the finish is somewhat alcoholic.
