Apalta Valley, Santa Cruz, Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileMontes Folly is grown on the very highest slopes of La Finca de Apalta vineyard, in Apalta Valley, with an inclination exceeding 45ยบ degrees. Denomination of Origin is Santa Cruz, within Colchagua. Expect a dark black cherry almost opaque colour with an open intense, white pepper and sausage nose flecked with vanilla, smoky cola and black cherry jam notes. Similar smoky licorice, peppery flavours with black cherry, kirsch, vanilla, clove and coffee aftertaste. Rich, ripe and round but with some defined tannins and astringency.
