Mission Hill Reserve Shiraz 2000
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA couple of inconsistent notes suggest perhaps this wine is drying out early or that for the moment the tannins have taken over. In any event the fruit is less than prominent on the smoky/sweaty black cherry berry resiny nose. It is soft on entry but dry on the mid-palate with a solid dose of acidity. Hard, dry and young and mostly closed in at this point.Tasted: 21 February 2003Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $17.95 | 750ml | Specialty |
