Castello Banfi Brunello di Montalcino 1997
Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalySpicy, smoky, licorice berry jam aromas with a touch of game. It has medium concentration with slightly lean tannins and black cherry, earthy, licorice flavours. Dry, somewhat lean finish now compared to a year ago. It is closing down somewhat and will need 3-5 years before it begins to re-open.
