St. Hallett Old Block Shiraz 1997

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaVery smoky, gamey, ripe blackberry jam with spicy, plum and pepper aromas, excellent intensity. Very good concentration on the palate with some noticeable but supple tannins. Has tons of licorice, Smokey, coffee, vanilla flavours with big blackberry jam fruit. Great fruit and balance but needs 2-5 years to really shine.Tasted: 01 May 2000Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
