Napa Valley, California, United StatesA bruiser not yet ready for prime time. Terrific, complex, sensual nose of blackberries in cream, figs, cocoa, herbs and smoky oak. Jammed with sweet fruit on the palate, yet lots of hot alcohol and burly tannin as well. Loosely built; needs some time to iron the seams into place.
