Piedmont, ItalyAll estate grown fruit, Batasiolo Barolo is made from a blend of Nebbiolo from the five communes of Barolo: La Morra, Monforte d'Alba, Barolo, Serralunga d'Alba, and Castiglione Falletto. Ripe cherry, black licorice, spice and vanilla make this very appealing on the nose. Round ripe and almost approachable already. Lovely black cherry and licorice flavours with dried plum on the finish. Outstanding effort for Barolo made in a modern style. Not to be missed.
