Piedmont, ItalyVery aromatic spicy, licorice, tarry, cherry aromas with toasty coffee, earth and tea leaf notes. Rich and intense with ripe cherry, licorice, spicy, earthy tar flavours. Quite tannic but ripe and balanced, no biting acidity or dryness. Very well made with lots of ageing potential.
