Champagne, FranceDespite a mix of nearly 70 per cent Pinot Noir and only 30 per cent Chardonnay (there is never any Pinot Meunier in La Grande Dame) it is the chardonnay that dominates for the moment. A perfectly ripe vintage has spawned a rich, powerful, elegant wine that is long on finesse.
