Van Westen Vineyards V 2010
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBig spicy, peppery, liquorice, blackberry jam, coffee, saddle leather, sage, tobacco and vanilla. Rich, concentrated, juicy and somewhat tannic structure with chocolate, black pepper, cardamom, vanilla, cassis jam and cedar flavours with a light balsamic and roasted pepper finish. Young and robust with oak and tannins to shed but has good potential here in 3-5 years. Really impressive for the vintage.Tasted: 24 April 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $35.00 | 750ml | winery direct and private wine shops march '06 |
