Van Westen Vineyards V 2011
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis ‘V’ blend is impressive and brings more floral/mineral notes to the glass. It so intense and packed full of savoury, spicy garrigue notes but with an elegance not often seen on the Naramata Bench. Red fruits and spice more liquorice, red currants, sage and vanilla all add to the complexity and depth here. If there is negative it’s a bit of acidity pushing through the back end. Try this with grilled steak.Tasted: 03 July 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $35.00 | 750ml | winery direct and private wine shops march '06 |
