Phantom Creek Estates Pinot Gris 2025
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe deep freeze may have set back the pinot gris vines growing at the Evernden Springs Vineyard in the Similkameen. Still, it hasn't affected the work of Olivier Humbrecht, the legendary Alsace winemaker and biodynamic guru, who serves as the consulting white winemaker at Phantom Creek. His 2025 is entirely sourced from Okanagan Valley sites. It spends 5 months in 64% oak foudres and 36% stainless steel tanks, which did nothing to stunt its expression. It pitches honeysuckle, pear, ripe peach, and sweet lemon that finish long and persistent, with a touch of croissant that takes us to Alsace in the final moments. Impressive, to say the least.Tasted: 20 August 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $31.99 | 750ml | BCL Stores |
