Craggy Range Pinot Noir Te Muna Road Vineyard 2024

Martinborough, Wairarapa, North Island, New ZealandConsistent despite winemaker changes, Te Muna Road Vineyard in Martinborough remains a magical place. The 2024 comes from Martinborough's famed upper terrace, planted with 8 pinot noir clones across more than 40 individually recognized plots. The rocky, clay-infused soils and cooler growing conditions are reflected in this flagship wine. It is a substantial pinot with floral lavender and jasmine. On the palate, dark cherry and sweet spice lead the way. For me, the silky, spicy finish seals the deal, but there's also luscious elegance that will attract many. The finish is crazy long.Tasted: 25 August 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
