Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI have enjoyed every edition of this wine, but for some reason the 2025 does not deliver on the same level. It presents slightly diluted, and the flavours are equally less intense, with low fruit character. I await the next edition.Tasted: 18 May 2026Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBear is a nod to the nickname of Tantalus owner's son, and typically made from the estate's youngest vines. For 2025, this was estate grown clones 76, 95, and 548, all whole bunch pressed and native fermented in neutral barriques, puncheons, and stainless. 2/3 was kept in oak for 3.5 months on lees, while the stainless component sat 2 months, with partial MLF across all. Green apple, lemon, and river stones sail through the slight palate, with a slight lees bed, and a lemon twist on the finish. An easy, friendly, lightweight chardy to crack into now. Very Chablis-like this year.Tasted: 05 July 2026Tasted by: Prices:
