Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWe love that BC can at least experiment with something like dolcetto to see what it can do in the Okanagan. The Moon Curser grapes come from the loamy sands of Fernandes Vineyard in Osoyoos. The winemaking is simple: keep it all cool, crush and ferment the grapes, and bottle them the following spring. Expect a juicy, lightly aromatic red wine with violets, plummy, jammy allure, black fruits, and a touch of black pepper. It has a small amount of tannin to work through, but it will be perfect now with grilled beef with a side of onions and mushrooms, or Bolognese pasta.Tasted: 28 June 2026Tasted by: Prices:

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOne of only 2 producers of Dolcetto in BC, this comes from Osoyoos' Fernandes Vineyard, in loamy sands. Destemmed grapes went uncrushed to 7000 and 5000L stainless tanks for a coolish ferment, with a week on skins before continuing fermentation and a brief rest before a spring bottling. Perfumed plum, boysenberry jam, purple florals fill a juicy, smoothed palate, with near negligible tannins providing a slight tug, and tart acidity giving easy lift through peppery finish. A friendly medium bodied red for summer / fall dishes.Tasted: 28 July 2026Tasted by: Prices:
