J. de Villebois Sauvignon Blanc 2024
FranceThis is my third vintage look at this wine, and it remains an impressive label. The Vin de France cuvée allows Sancerre producer J. de Villebois to work outside the Sancerre appellation, using grapes grown on the cool Atlantic Coast and in other parts of the Loire Valley. That said, the result is more Sancerre than Vin de France, so you get a sauvignon that overdelivers for its price. Fresh, dry, and linear, with a slightly softer style of dry, citrus, gooseberry, and grapefruit that brightens any dish that needs a squeeze of lemon. Good value and real wine.Tasted: 14 July 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $26.99 | 750ml | BCL Exclusive |
