Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAfter the freeze that decimated the fruit in 2024, the vines were ready to go, and this Viognier raved with glee. The fruit comes from two Naramata sites: Gjoa's Vineyard and Engel Vineyard. Winemaking steps include overnight skin contact, with 50% of the fruit fermented in stainless steel, and 50% is fermented in French oak (17% new), and the rest in 3rd and 4th fill barrels. At only 12% alcohol, it has a fresh, floral attack with a pleasant mix of honeysuckle and stone fruit.
