Blasted Church Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2025 blend combines Sauvignon Blanc from the Skaha Bench estate vineyard and Road 1 Vineyard in West Oliver with some Semillon from the Aspen Vineyard north of Osoyoos. Following pressing, the Sauvignon was fermented and aged in a mix of stainless steel and French oak, while the Sémillon was fermented and aged entirely in French oak. Several months later, the blend was assembled and returned to tank and barrel for further aging before bottling. The colour is appropriately pale, the nose a fine mix of tropical and herbal BC notes. The palate mirrors the nose with lime, gooseberry, more lime, and bright acidity. Clean and fresh, and all you could want for the price. Mussels are a must, but most any shellfish will taste better with this wine.Tasted: 26 June 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
