Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPale garnet throughout, the wine offers mature, well-melded, engaging savoury strawberry, barrel vanilla and garrigue. The flavours confirm this, delivering a medium-bodied cherry profile with smoky, earthy, herbaceous notes. It's supple, with ripe tannins, lengthy and strikingly balanced from beginning to end. This is a showpiece for what the South Okanagan is capable of in this Rhône-reminiscent, deft blend of 53% cabernet franc and 47% merlot.
