Solvero Pinot Gris 2025

Garnet Valley, Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis slick '25 pinot gris blends fruit harvested from Kozuki Family Vineyards and Happy Valley Vineyard at the end of September. It has a highly polished feel, with plenty of ripe pear up front and a touch of honey and beeswax that really smooths out the back end. A light dusting of bitterness in the finish adds a touch of complexity to the mix. Balanced and crisp, it offers fine concentration that helps it take a gold medal at the 2026 National Wine Awards. Ready to drink. The grapes were hand harvested across five separate picks to seek optimal ripeness. Each pick was fermented separately, and whole cluster pressed to release a smaller volume of juice with greater clarity and concentration. The fermentations used a mix of spontaneous and cultured yeast, and were kept relatively cool (12-16°C), extending over 2-3 weeks until dryness. The wine was aged in a 50/50 mix of stainless steel and neutral French oak barrels for 3 months before bottling.Tasted: 11 September 2026Tasted by: Prices:
