Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaModesta offers a great introduction with a mostly modern take on Okanagan Chardonnay. The style is spicy and slightly warm, but there’s a lean quality and structure that give the wine some verticality, filled with pear and lemon zest. The finish is both spicy and creamy, with hints of toasted hazelnut adding complexity and length. It is food friendly and ready to enjoy.
