Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis Okanagan blend has proven itself over the years, and in great vintages like 2022, it can offer a strong return. The blend is mostly merlot with added cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon from the South Okanagan, specifically the Osoyoos and Black Sage Benches. The nose and palate are youthful, showing desert scrub and leaves combined with tobacco, and black and red fruits. It has some tannins to soften and some polish to develop before it's ready for prime time and prime beef.
