The nose unveils tropical notes, with white floral and yellow fruit aromas. The palate offers fresh pineapple, apricots, and toasted oak, complemented by mid-palate freshness and mineral hints reminiscent of ancient riverbeds. The finish presents an attractive combination of buttery and saline notes. This wine appeals to a broad audience with its France-meets-California style or subtle complexity paired with rich flavours. Technically, Cigalus is a high-density vineyard producing a modest 25 hl/ha. Each of the three varieties—Chardonnay, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc—is harvested on separate dates, chosen at peak ripeness. After hand-harvesting, the fruit is fermented in a blend of 70% oak and 30% stainless steel.
