Bel Colle Langhe Nebbiolo 2024

Piedmont, ItalyDOC Langhe Nebbiolo serves as an introduction to the fuller, richer, and more intense versions of nebbiolo, such as Barolo. However, there is Langhe Nebbiolo, and then there is Langhe Nebbiolo. Belle Colle is the exception, bringing its label closer to the regal Barolo than most of its peers. Expect a fragrant aroma with violet and rose notes. The palate offers an enticing mix of red fruits, vibrant and with impressive elegance — a nod to the nobility of the nebbiolo grape. Look for plums and raspberries amid perfectly integrated, almost dusty tannins. There is no apparent dryness here, just a delicious, easy-drinking red. We know it's worthy of serious study, but why bother? It's too much fun to drink. Another challenging year in Piemonte seems not to have affected Bel Colle.Tasted: 18 December 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
