Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom one of the warmest sites in the Okanagan and a stellar year, winemaker Jason James has done a fine job of controlling the power and heat to allow this franc to be a franc. It has a juicy, savoury, leafy entry, with a touch of smoke mixed with red and black fruit. The textures are soft, the fruit lush and meaty with a hint of sweetness before the acidity and spice kick in to shout Franc. Grilled lamb, anyone?Tasted: 17 October 2025Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOn the nose, typical very dusty fruit with sage, Mediterranean herbs, preserved cherries, pencil shavings, raspberry, and baked red fruit pie. It showed a bit of tannic grip but had some length and good cabernet franc character. More graceful than forceful, this subtle cabernet franc has a layered finish with supporting acidity that keeps it interesting and frames the fruit well.Tasted: 08 October 2025Tasted by: Prices:
