Black Sage Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2013
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA big improvement over the 2012 bringing more richness and weight to the party. It opens with a spicy, peppery nose streaked with cloves and chocolate. The attack is fresh and full bodied with chocolate covered cherries and leather with a firm, savoury mocha finish. This needs a bit more time in bottle, say one to two years before it reaches it pinnacle. Well-made and will be terrific with lamb dishes.Tasted: 25 September 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $24.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
