Gérard Bertrand Gris Blanc 2024

Vin de Pays d'Oc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceI thought this wine would up the summer wine ante after tasting it in 2018, but so far it hasn't made it out of select private wine shops. The 2024 grenache gris is sourced mainly from the Tautavel area, located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees Mountains, approximately 30 kilometres north of Perpignan. Pale pink with a subtle earthy tone, the nose is fresh, the palate is ripe, fruity, watery, and vibrant, with a lemony, stony minerality punctuated by strawberry, cranberry, and pink grapefruit. Ready to drink with shellfish, prawns, and chèvre. It needs your attention.Tasted: 20 August 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
