Moon Curser Eclipse 2022
Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaEclipse 2022 is version three, and it's showing another bump in complexity and quality as the years tick by. The blend is unique, a 60/40 mix of roussanne and marsanne, all subject to the traditional secondary fermentation in the bottle. The colour is on the darker side, reflecting its grape mix, while the nose is a pleasant combination of lees, almond, and citrus. On the palate, the mousse is creamy and smooth, with more citrus and almonds, and a medium-weight finish that again reflects the fruit. It has the texture and freshness to work with oysters but is rich enough for more substantial mains.
