Mendoza, ArgentinaOver time, Luigi Bosca has made a conscious effort to improve this affordable label's quality, adding to its value as a dependable, go to mid week red. On the other side of 50, the east facing, biodynamically farmed Finca La Linda vines are at their peak. Black plum, blueberries, and black raspberries have a linear edge to mix with a rash of soft tannins, giving this label a gravitas reserved for more expensive wines. It spends a year in French oak to round out the edges, making it a drink now or hold proposition.
