Township 7 Provenance Series Merlot 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2022 combines two vineyards: the rich, rocky soils from the North Oliver Bench Blue Terrace Vineyard; and Dwight and Arnie Gash's Remuda Vineyard in Okanagan Falls. Post ferment, it is 18 months of aging in American and French oak barrels. The attack is merlot plush with bright black cherry and black plum, with perfectly managed dense sweet tannins and notes of tobacco, baking chocolate, and vanilla in the finish. This is well balanced and fresh, and it should improve over the next three to five years.Tasted: 15 November 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
